The Leader Class Nightwatch Optimus Prime is recolored in varying toothpaste-hued shades of blue. Primev s truck mode, outfitted with six rubber wheels, features a blue & black chassis with a silver chased flames. Primev s robot mode features a number of ratcheted joints and a wide range of articulation. Nightwatch Optimus Prime features electronic lights and sounds and a projectile-firing Ion Blaster. Originally, Optimus Prime ruled Cybertron alongside Megatron, although after Megatron revealed his maniacal scheme to yoke the power of the Allspark for himself, Optimus rallied a group of Cybertronian noncombatants into an Autobot militia. A subsequent attempt to recover the Allspark led both the Autobots and Decepticons to Earth.
