In the roles of past and present superstars, players seek to capture a true Grand Slam, winning the Australian Open, French Open, U.S. Open, and Wimbledon -- a venue exclusive to the 2012 tennis game. PlayStation 3 gamers can use the gamepad, or play with optional Move motion controls. Gamers play as their choice of more than 20 famous pro athletes, including retired WTA and ATP legends and contemporary stars of the sport.<br><br>The roster includes Federer, Nadal, Sharapova, and the Williams sisters, as well as Becker, Borg, Davenport, and Evert, in addition to featured cover athlete, John McEnroe. Artificial intelligence is programmed with distinct strategies, tactics, and playing styles for the different star athletes. They are designed to move, swing, and emote like their real-life counterparts, in action as well as in their animations. The game's career mode spans up to a virtual decade. Players can also compete in pick-up singles and doubles matches, or take on 25 unlockable "ESPN Tournament Classics," to replay historic moments and memorable situations.
