Flight Deck 5 introduces seven aircraft in all-new missions on board the <I>USS Gerald R. Ford</I>. Players will strap into the cockpits of the following vessels: an F/A-18C Hornet, F/A-18E Super Hornet, E-2C Hawkeye, S-3D Viking, SH-60 Seahawk, C-2A Greyhound, and EA-6B Prowler. Flight skills will be tested by taking off and landing on a moving aircraft carrier. The game also includes five missions and over 60 training scenarios. Players can fire an AGM-65 Maverick missile at various targets and master the recovery phase by using an aircraft's tailhook to catch the carrier's steel arresting cable. While most of the add-on's features are designed for Flight Simulator X, owners of Flight Simulator 2004 will fly from a static carrier and choose one of 200 pre-saved flights.
