In this real-time strategy game, the title, Enemy Infestation, aptly describes the predicament in which the human colony on the far off planet of Radavi finds itself. The threat posed by the Hunjak, a multi-faceted alien race of insect-like beings who swarmed to Radavi after ruining their previous world, was at first considered no more than a nuisance by the colony. Conventional weapons seemed to keep the infestation at controllable levels. As time passed, however, the startling secret to Hunjak survival as a highly adaptable race became a deadly force -- one that escalated and precipitated a war of survival between the two races. <br><br>Enemy Infestation features a storyline punctuated by a unique application of interactive weaponry. The human contingent in the game consists of over a dozen types of colonists, each with unique and varying abilities. There are 18 specific objects (technology-based) to understand and utilize during the game, 15 distinct weapons ranging from bug and hair spray to rocket guns and Charged Particle Rifles (ray guns), seven specific items produced and designed by the various bases on the planet for localized use and a half dozen unique locales (bases). <br><br>The game contains twenty-six single player missions as well as a multi-player (up to four) format for Internet play. The interface is mouse driven with some keyboard equivalents supported. Most action is implemented via a half dozen specific "window" displays or interface screens. Enemy Infestation is a science-fiction tale of survival of the fittest that features unconventional weapon usage and an innovative look at an alien culture.
