Players join the lovable extra-terrestrial botanist title character of the blockbuster 1982 film for a new quest in E.T. Interplanetary Mission. The PC adventure is based on the PlayStation game of the same title, released a few months earlier. Coming 20 years after the original movie's debut, the popularity of the world's best-loved alien visitor endures as he embarks on this mission to save the universe itself. E.T. must travel through 25 levels on four different worlds (including Earth) to collect important plant specimens. Along the way, he'll be challenged by strange animals and misunderstanding government agents. Luckily, as in the film, E.T. can use his special powers of telepathy, telekinesis, stun, and healing to help him solve tricky puzzles and escape from dangerous situations.
