Product Information
Diamond Trust of London is a unique strategy game of intrigue and opposition that casts players as diamond merchants in conflict-ridden Angola. A game is played in eight turns, each representing one month's time in the diamond-rich African country. After this eight-month period, the United Nations imposes the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme in an attempt to bring peace and stability to the international diamond market, and so the player's goal is to make as much money as possible in the relatively lawless conditions, before new regulations are imposed. Players guide their sly corporate agents in six diamond-producing regions of the country.

In this atmosphere of unbridled capitalism, employee loyalty can be bought and sold like any other commodity. Players must allocate their limited resources wisely, to purchase valuable diamonds, pay their agent's salaries, and offer bribes to local authorities and employees of the rival corporation. Diamond Trust of London is a competitive game, with each of two players controlling a diamond-export company, striving to be the most profitable at the end of the eight-month period. Computer AI controls the opponent corporation in single-player games. Published in North America by Zoo Games, the game was created by independent developer Jason Rohrer, known for incorporating artistic expression and exploring the influences of cultural mores in his previous homebrew releases.Product Key Features
