The Dell N051F was designed to be the interactive hub of the Dell’s Poweredge R410 series of enterprise class servers. In essence, it provides all the slots and sockets necessary for the various parts to synthesize information into one system. Some connecting options on the Dell N051F include two embedded RJ-45 LAN connectors on the rear, which is a common add-on for newer motherboards. This server motherboard also houses two USB ports as well as Serial and VGA ports. For expansion capability, this Dell motherboard contains two PCI slots: one PCI Express bus plus one storage slot. To address a common problem, this Dell N051F has a jumper switch which restores the default factory settings if reboot data on the BIOS System is lost. With other motherboards, the user will often have to take out the BIOS chip and rewrite the data. With ample connections to accommodate increasingly smaller and efficient DIMMs, this Dell motherboard matches the R410's need for high-powered computing. This server motherboard is well-suited for a cramped data center or small office.
