Suddenly you find yourself on the way to the far reaches of space, specifically, the sixth moon of the planet Cepheus-6. You've learned that your Uncle Jacob recently died on this forsaken mining outpost and left you, much to the chagrin of his other relatives, his claim to the "big strike" he searched for all his life. Now you're about to land on Luna Crysta to investigate the events surrounding Uncle Jacob's death and ultimately discover if you've inherited wealth beyond imagining or if you'll be left holding a meaningless claim. <br><br>As the adventure unfolds in this far flung corner of inhospitable space, you'll encounter the indigenous species of Cepheids who seem, on the surface, to be very happy working with and for the Brave Hope Mining Corporation. In this cinematic action/adventure game, Dark Side of the Moon, you play as Uncle Jacob's favorite relative, Jake Wright who quickly finds himself up to his neck in trouble. Apparently, though, all isn't as it seems with the Cepheids. Jake has to unravel the mysteries behind Jacob's death, the claim, the Cepheids behavior and exonerate himself of blame for a heinous crime. <br><br>The game features six CDs and a fully developed, immersive story written by Lee Sheldon, the successful veteran writer of varied and memorable television scripts. Dark Side of the Moon is a non-linear adventure filmed with SAS Institute, Inc.'s vaunted Video Reality technology which allows full mobility of your character via FMV that is fully integrated with realistic and atmospheric environments. The game is mouse driven with a changing cursor for movement, inventory management and administrative functions tied seamlessly to in-game menus.
