Deeply religious about the forces of the sun and the wind, the people of Highthrone devised new techniques to adapt to their challenging environment and, once they began to expand, new ways to travel from terrace to terrace. Discovering the rich mines in the mountains opened a great source of wealth and trade began first with dwarves, then with the cities and towns down in the valleys.
