Chameleon is a strategic puzzle game that involves claiming territory, or spaces, on a playing field composed of hexagonal shapes. The goal is to conquer a majority of the board by transforming groups of spaces to your selected color. Players begin by choosing one of four bickering sisters, who agree to settle their differences by matching wits against one another in multiple rounds. Each anime-inspired character offers a number of special moves to help players win more territory, from tossing bombs to creating barriers. The playing field spans both DS screens as characters alternate turns to claim as many spaces as possible before their rival. Head-to-head matches against a friend are supported via local wireless connection, each requiring only one copy of the game.
