Capcom's iconic survival horror series continues with Resident Evil Revelations 2, a collection of four previously released episodes. The game stars former series protagonist and Raccoon City survivor Claire Redfield, now working for the anti-terrorism group TerraSave. One day Clair and her coworker Moira are knocked unconscious and taken to an abandoned prison on a mysterious, monster-filled island. Meanwhile, Moira's dad, series veteran Barry Burton, travels to the island to rescue his daughter, only to befriends another young girl named Natalia. The action primarily finds Claire and Barry traveling around the island and using a variety of high-powered weapons to shoot monstrous mutants, but gamers can also take on some light puzzle-solving and switch to the secondary characters to take advantage of their special abilities. Moira can use her flashlight to stun foes and then attack them with a crowbar, while Natalia has the ability to sense enemy creatures and even see them through walls. The game also includes Raid mode, which offers a great deal of customization as players take on a series of shooting galleries. This release also includes two playable side stories, four character costumes, and the Throwback Map Pack and Hunk and Albert Wesker characters for Raid mode.
