This public television original documentary examining the U.S.-Korean War in the early '50s. Both a nostalgic memoir and an intense study of the conflict, this film uses both archival film footage from the era and computer generated images used to demonstrate battle strategy. The U.S. in their fight against communism lost 37,000 men by the time it was over, only a fraction of how many Chinese and Korean soldiers were lost. Filmmaker Dave Flitton tells the story from the point of view of many all three of these nations as well as the Soviet Union and many of the 20 other nations who participated in the bloodshed.
