Barbara Roberts, better known to millions of fans as Barbie, joins friends Christie and Teresa in a "Sparkling Ice Tour" that travels to International City Park, Misty Mountain, Island Paradise and Rose Garden before culminating in a surprise location available only after completion of the first four. Three skating styles, easy, medium and expert, allow players of all skill levels to control the skaters as they perform tricks, learn routines (three at each location), design outfits, decorate rinks, practice, and select music.<br><br>Completing the first practice and Ice Show unlocks Exhibition Mode, where players can use previously unlocked skating styles, costumes, rinks, routines, decorations, and locales. Additionally, a Freestyle skate mode becomes available, offering two-minute free skates using left and right arrow keys to move the skater around the ice and over colored "snowflakes" that result in special tricks. Up to ten exhibition skate routines can be saved for replay purposes.
