Ares Rising is a space combat title in which you play Marlowe at a time when warring factions sit on the edge of galactic war. Habitable planets are scarce, as are resources. Your chance for glory is at hand. Ares Rising allows you to outfit your ship with hundreds of different weapon and equipment combinations. It includes advanced flight simulation characteristics. Choose from inertial or fly-by-rail flight models. Other abilities include control of wingmen and stealth combat abilities, utilizing cloaking devices, passive energy systems, communications jammers and decoys. The multi-player game supports a maximum of eight players via TCP/IP, IPX LAN, modem or serial connection. Player characteristics are remembered across multiple multi-player sessions.
