Japan's Ar Tonelico role-playing series makes its first appearance on PlayStation 3 after two consecutive releases on PlayStation 2. The storyline follows a young man named Aoto in his quest to save a girl from being abducted by a mysterious organization. Aoto will be able to form a party with those he meets in his travels, which will take him to various towns and dungeons. Battles have you controlling one character at a time, with the option to switch between other party members at any point.<br><br>In an unusual twist from most role-playing games, one female character will stand apart from the group and start singing a battle hymn, with the length of the song influencing the types of power-ups available to characters. You can also remove the singer's clothes in the M-rated game to provide stat bonuses to party members and eventually unlock a special move for use in combat.
