A small island off the coast of Italy is your destination in AnaCapri: The Dream. Taking the role of Dr. Nico N., expert on ancient civilizations, you are sent to AnaCapri to locate the Black Obsidian Disk. As you explore this historical community, you can click and scroll through over 8,000 panoramic photos of actual scenery. The game guides you through images of the Grotto of Ferns, Walkway of the Forts, Palazzo a Mare, and Red Beard's Castle, to collect clues and information. Tracking down the disk and solving the growing mystery surrounding the area requires interacting with the indigenous islanders. Two well-known residents of AnaCapri, famous doctor Axel Munthe and the philosopher Gunnar Adler-Karlsson, can provide you with important knowledge. On occasion, your adventure brings you up against such fictional characters as Poseidon, the Siren, and the Nereids. Play as a "Tourist" and take your time walking through each scene while music composed by Silvio Savarese sets the mood.
