Author BiographyWritten when she was in third grade, Aggravating Pirates is Holland's first book. Holland's mom explains how Aggravating Pirates came about... In Mrs. Duttenhofer's third grade class, Holland was asked to pick two pictures from a variety of different pictures laying on the floor. Holland chose a picture of a parrot and a picture of a gold ring. From those two pictures, Aggravating Pirates was born. Holland Elizabeth Craft is a sixth grade middle schooler in North Metro Atlanta, GA where she lives with her mother and father, two older brothers, and two dogs, Rosie and Luna. Among other things, Holland enjoys acting, reading, swimming, writing and tennis. Holland developed the love of writing while in third grade, when she wrote Aggravating Pirates. She loves the various places that you can travel through writing.
