Was a bit tight fitting the strap into the fuel cap (VW Polo) but when I got the pins aligned to the holes a bit of pressure solved the job. Top tip, when removing the puns don't fully push them out of the unit, just push them from underneath until they clear the strap so it can be removed, that way you won't need spend time with tweezers holding the pins getting them back into the cap!
