This is a nice beret. I was airborne and in an airborne unit in the U.S. Army. That was 38 years ago. I decided to buy this one for my "Wasteland Weekend" headgear. I would argue that no beret is actually "inspection ready", but this one comes pretty close. In addition to having a unit flash sewn on and unit insignia pin or officer's rank insignia pinned on, I always soaked the beret in warm water. Then, gently remove excess water with a towel. Next, while damp, wear it, shape it, let it dry.
