The product does appear to be new. However, it looks to have been shuffled a lot in transport, or in a warehouse over many years. There is a small dull scuff to the paint on the nose of the vehicle from the packaging, and all over the jewel case. Lastly, the documentation has signs of moisture with staples beginning to rust and minor mildew. The model itself presents well outside the jewel case and I do like it, but just a word of caution to other buyers.
