I did not know this product IS MANUFACTURED IN CHINA. I ordered a Japanese Quality REEL and I got a CHINEESE MADE REEL. I called, Daiwa the manufacturer, and Diawa refused to exchange this reel for a Japanese made reel. Reel is good ,(SO FAR) but I don't know when some Chineesium component will fail.
