I felt that the seller held me hostage and I explained that to him. As a buyer, my primary responsibility is to pay and pay on time (which I did). After confirming payment, the seller should've provided immediate feedback -- the seller never did -- he was waiting for mine first. Ebay is an honor system and that is why works and has survived this long. Furthermore, the item took way, way too long to arrive and definitely longer than the window given.

As explained to you repeatedly our feedback is left automatically by eBay when a positive feedback is left for us. This is a bonafide option setting that eBay gives the choice for sellers to decide how their feedback is left. If you do not like this option that’s given to sellers by eBay then maybe you should not be shopping on eBay. And to accuse us of holding you hostage is just slander. Reason for delayed post is admittedly because our Royal Mail is not of the best service at present
