Synopsis
"Mapping the World with Art" is a blend of history, geography, and art for ages 10 and up. This curriculum is actually three books in one. The first section is a history text with 30 2-page history lessons that tell the story of cartography from ancient Mesopotamia up through the discovery of Antarctica in the late 1800s. The second section of the book provides step-by-step drawing lessons for each of the history lessons. After you learn some history, you draw the primary place you read about. The last section provides extra activities that a parent or teacher may want to use with their student(s). These activities include review worksheets, group games, historical crafts, art projects, edible crafts, and links to online videos. The final project is drawing a map of the world from memory.

- 3***p (100)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseI've ordered from Rarewaves here in the US and the UK multiple times, and continue to do so. They always seem to have something I can't find anywhere else at all or for a reasonable price. When I purchase used items, they are as described, if not a grade better. Aways a quick turnaround after ordering, every item arrives promptly, professionally packaged. Many orders have free shipping, even for solitary item orders. I never needed a reason to communicate, as I've had no cause. Recommended.New Model Army Original Album Series (CD) Album (#297384568493)

- 8***u (81)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseThe book was brand still plastic wrapped. Looks exactly like the picture for a reasonable price including shipping. In perfect condition. Shipping was slow and I was worried that I was scammed again. Seller did respond to my message after a day and explained the item would be shipped within a week. The item shipping and tracking was updated by the date they stated. Took about 2 weeks to receive item. I’m usually impressed when item is shipped and received within a week.Edgar Allen Poe Raven (Hardback) (#405650189728)
