When I contacted eBay, I was told (twice) that the £5 would be refunded. When I phoned to ask why this had not happened, I was then told that it was up to the seller, who, having been informed of eBay's new stance, has not come forth with the money. All in all, an appalling state of affairs, which eBay should be looking into.
