The advantage of optical media is that they are very robust. If necessary, they can even survive several weeks in water after a flood. I experienced this four years ago. You are also protected from ransomware, as the write-once data carriers cannot be changed afterwards. I have had a very good experience with this friendly seller and have now purchased my second BD drive from Pioneer.

Everything was as described. Shipping was a little slow but that was to be expected coming all the way from China. Do not skimp on packaging. Would recommend.

My drive was packed pretty well and didn't take any shipping damage that I could see. The only quality issue I have is the drive sled slides out a little weird, but ultimately works fine. I felt I paid a fair price, and the drive looks as advertised. Definitely pay with Paypal to ensure you have scam protection, but for now I'm happy with my purchase.
