Cavalry swords carry a good curve as they are used from horse, this sword does not. The scabbard is well made but the protective tip is wrong, it was glued on and the real thing has 2 screws as attachment points. I have several real Civil War swords. This is way too lacking the patina of age. I am wrong I apologize but prove. Ask seller to send more if real!
