The larger plastic housing for EC5 actually takes the male connector while the smaller housing (being the male) takes the female connector. My packages (10 x male plastic plus 10 x female plastic each had the incorrect gold termination (which I simply swapped over. If purchasing male only or female only packages, they will be incorrect and useless
