I used to be a leather worker, so I am picky about my guitar straps and leather quality. These are made with a very luxurious, and buttery pull-up leather on the top layer, stitched to a textured, soft garment layer backing. They are thick and substantial, but very flexible and soft on the shoulder without needing padding. I use the same 2.5 inch wide version on my Precision Bass and Les Paul that I use on my Strats.
