Sonic Lost World finds Sega's speedy mascot using a variety of new moves and powers as he teams up with his longtime nemesis Dr. Eggman to destroy a half-dozen menacing creatures known as the Deadly Six. Players explore the foreign world of Lost Hex, walking, running, or using the new parkour system to make their way over ground, along walls, and through the air in three-dimensional worlds reminiscent of the levels in Super Mario Galaxy. The spin dash returns, and new Color Powers let Sonic soar through the air, pulverize the ground, and bounce along musical notes.<br><br>Each level in Sonic Lost World features multiple paths and collectibles like traditional rings, red star rings, and trapped animals, and Sonic can use traditional bounces, homing attacks, kick attacks, or any of his special powers to dispatch familiar foes from the franchise and take on powerful boss characters. Multiplayer fans can join three friends for local or online races, and gamers can use their 3DS to customize remote-controlled vehicles for use in the Wii U version of the game. Handheld gamers also get exclusive Color Powers and special stages in which they must use their system's motion controls to track down Chaos Emeralds.
