That hinge was to protect the screen when the phone is shut. Not having it caused the phones screen to get a crack and now the crack is running down the entire screen. Unsure if its the actual screen im hoping its just the protector. Now I have to make an appointment with a phone repair company. I noticed the small hairline crack after a week of having it.
