    TASCAM RW 2000 tested operational, supplied new remote does not work, TASCAM RC-SS2 is incompatible with this vintage model. Seller claims “ This is the original remote for this model. I test all items and make sure everything works before shipping. I’ve sold many Tascam units with this same remote and haven’t had any issues.” I found RW2000 vintage remote for $100…Thus I kept the CD player for playback of archived masters from my recording studio. Be aware before purchasing one from seller

    I’ve sold 4 of this item with the same remote. They were unused as the recorders were operated manually. You asked for a $90 refund, which would have been a discount since the recorder works without it, then threatened me with bad feedback. That’s abusive buyer behavior. I reported it, eBay confirmed the violation and suggested not to respond. I keep this feedback to assure future buyers that all items are tested and stamped before shipping to ensure the same item is returned if a case is opened
