However, this 'last one' item had been quickly relisted after purchase at a higher price, which was then explained as the original item being offered at an outdated gold price. My understanding is that the eBay sale price, once accepted, is binding. The gold prices have risen hugely and the relisted item at the higher updated gold price was therefore instantly ended as this range was discontinued by my supplier just recently. In all fairness, I did offer the buyer a choice of a similar item in my current stock at the same low price but it was declined
