Needed a good scrub with vinegar and baking soda to get the slimmy film and mildue smell out. The discoloration matches my existing fridge so the tray looked like it was always there. One thing that could have been avoided was the sticky residue left by the seller's packing tape and label. I got that off with some goo-gone. I did appreciate the packaging. They ensured it would arrive unscathed even with negligent handling.
