Not sure what I will do with it, except keep it handy for home defense. As for what it is, it is a Gustav Messer. Not a large Bowie knife. The Messer is of German origin and the size of this one makes it very useful. The sheath is a bit tight, but I hope will break in with time. Considering where it came from, it got to me ahead of schedule.

Also has rust on the metal through the handle section. Could have been more refined pommel. They should have spent a few more minutes rounding corners and ensuring there was no moisture on the blade. For the price I expected more. Overall 80% satisfied.
