I messaged the seller beforehand to confirm that all functions on the unit worked well, seller said that everything "works perfectly". I received the unit and it turns out; the battery compartment is non-functioning and corroded, there was old tape/belt stuck inside the cassette compartment, the record button is almost fully peeled off and the play button does not stay down/has alot of play. Not to mention the shipping method was laughable, old newspaper/bags, no protection at all.

Product was double and triple checked especially because customer reached out prior to purchasing to confirm the product worked. No Corrosion in battery compartment or tape stuck in the product. Listing pictures will confirm this. Item was shipped in a box and bags and newspaper were added as filler so product doesn't move around. Customer as well didnt ask to return or for refund.
