The downside is the switch itself is not compatible (it works for on/off - but not for dimming). So, I guess the description is accurate - but over double what price is available for this same "non-dimmable" switch on Amazon - I chose this one because of the dimming capability (thus I concluded the marked up price). Whatever - stuff happens and I'm satisfied enough.
