The base shows two possible locating pins, likely the closer one (supplied) is for a smaller model Jaguar, where my XJR requires the other. I was able to disassemble the leaper from the base and so re-use my base (that had lost its leaper) for a satisfactory solution (though fit between the parts is not as good as the original. A more accurate description is needed.
