The silver piece that connects to the injector self destructed while my valve cover was off and internals exposed, sending 2 ball bearings, a spring and a bit of metal into my engine bay. Luckily managed to find all the bits but could have been very bad. At the time it exploded it wasn’t connected to anything - I had simply picked it up to start using it
