It does power up and when the speakers are connected, it provides MONO sound not stereo sound. Using a speaker test MP3, I found that there is zero stereo separation. When the speakers are play test tones "out of phase" you expect to hear reduced bass and poorly localized sound. Instead you hear nothing for the full spectrum. I'm guessing that the left and right hot leads are bridged somewhere on the circuit board. I tried working with the supplier and after one message, I'm ghosted.
