Ultima Online: Age of Shadows includes the "House Design Tool," which allows players to build new houses from scratch or modify existing domiciles with new structures and textures. Those who adventure to the expansion's new realm will find an enhanced magic systems with new spells and items. New combat techniques are also employed here, designed to add depth and challenge to battle. Age of Shadows also allows two new character classes: The Paladin, a courageous warrior of light, and the Necromancer, who explores forbidden secrets and wields the dark magic.
