Direct fit with minor filing top corner of radiator due to the square corners and tilt in install. Truck is running 20 degrees cooler with no other changes to cooling system. Con is the drain plug is silver painted plastic. Con #2 and most importantly, radiator was listed in Texas so it showed 1st in a item nearest me search, BUT drop shipped out of California adding 4 days to delivery time. Work truck was down 4 extra days,almost a negative feedback
- t***1 (234)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseThe outside corners are about 6mm to tall, and the connections for the oil cooler are half inch, flare fitting. The plugs out of the old radiator will work with a lot of T tape. On the transmission side cooler, you will need a 3/8 flare to 1/4 in adapter. You have to shave the threads off the push fittings. Then rethread it with a 3/8th 16tpi die. Use a 5/8 drill bit to bevel the top of the adapter so it will not break the o-ring. Then seal it with rectorseal 5
