The distributor cap end of the plug wires secure nicely with a very satisfying click, but the spark plug end feels sloppy. they do work fine. Maybe this is part of the design? racing plugs need changed more often and that it is less likely you will strip a connector out of a boot on the end of a wire when doing frequent plug changes. That or the autolite copper 3923 plugs(step colder) have a small top. I guess I prefer my electrical connections to be snug
