I wish I would have purchased this tool several dust caps ago. The new caps are to thin for me to remove my old technique without damaging them. This tool worked an a brand new cap on a brand new hub with no damage to the cap, I couldn’t think of a tighter fit. I did lightly tap the jaws to get them to set behind the lip on the cap and when I did the slid right in.

Got it today and used it on 2 caps. I took the puddy knife, hammer and got the cap started. Then I took this tool, held it with my left hand and bumped the handle with my right hand. The caps popped off. No more prying or working the cap. Glad I got the pliers.
