A slimline filter - moulding on the rubber seal helps locate the filter... this perhaps causes an offset in the rubber frame,, causing the bottom edge to curve inwards. Placing the filter in the air box lid, created the best fitment due to having to locate the bottom air box lid tabs by feel... I felt my 2008 4.2 QP idled better, and felt more eager to build speed... now to fit the X-pipe.
