Gamers can pick their genre and choose the perfect script, letting them step into the lead role in an action movie, pantomime through a silent film, or play the crazed scientist in a sci-fi thriller. The camera captures player movements so gamers can film, save, and share their best performances, and special mini-games award positive grades for competent portrayals. The "Director Mode" lets players with an eye for drama produce their own blockbuster by allowing them to edit the film, choose music, and add voice-overs. You're in the Movies also features a multiplayer mode in which up to four people can take on starring roles.
