A full two years before the release of his blockbuster debut album, Loon was a hip hop superstar. As part of a fresh crop of talent signed to Bad Boy Records by owner Sean "Puffy" Combs, Loon was featured on P. Diddy's triumphant return to the rap game - 2003's the Saga Continues - alongside Black Rob, G. Dep and others. Loon even scored his first hit single, "I Need a Girl," from that same album. When Loon finally released his own album, it was an immediate success, climbing to the #6 spot on the Billboard charts, largely on the strength of the radio hit "Down for Me. " the album has since gone on to sell over 275,00 units. Now, with his career in his own hands, Loon presents his independently released follow-up album - No Friends - that showcases a darker, more hardcore approach but still contains the melodic, laid back flow fans fell in love with on his debut. No Friends is a bold statement of independence and self-assuredness that is sure to please Loon's significant fan base and keep it expanding.
