Vin Diesel's Riddick character gets a new lease on life in this third film from writer/director David Twohy. Katee Sackhoff and Bokeem Woodbine head up a group of assassins out to kill Riddick, who lures them to a desolate planet when confronted with a hostile alien species. After being left for dead on a sun-scorched planet, Riddick found himself battling a race of alien predators to survive. One day he is able to activate an emergency beacon that alerts two ships. However, one of these ships is full of a new breed of mercenaries hell-bent on capturing or killing RIDDICK and the other is captained by a man from his past.
