About this product
Product Information
In Tapper, you play a highly stressed, overworked bartender who must contend with what seems like a never-ending flow of thirsty customers. Sling those sodas down the bar to keep them happy, and be sure to collect the empty glasses they sling right back at you.

There are four different bars to cover: old west, sports, punk rock and outer space.

In each of the taverns, there are four counters that must be served. At your end of each counter is a tap. At the other end, customers stream toward you. If they reach your end, they will throw you down the bar and you lose a life. Placate them by filling a glass with soda and tossing it to them. If you toss a glass and there is no recipient to catch it, you lose a life. Occasionally, the customers will toss their empty glasses back at you. If you fail to catch them, you lose a life. The level ends when there are no more customers in the bar. The game ends when you run out of lives.

In between each level, you face the menacing Soda Bandit, who shakes up six out of seven Mountain Dew cans left on the counter. The cans will then shift around. It's your job to open the can that wasn't shaken; otherwise, you'll end up with a face full of spray.

Tapper is a direct derivative of the Arcade hits Tapper, which featured Budweiser, and Root Beer Tapper, which was more appropriate for non-tavern settings.
