So I bought this one to set the bar pattern perpendicular to to the older grate. That gave square holes which to set the logs on top. The newer grate was a”seconds” item. It was not perfectly round. This did not matter to me because the logs set in the middle of the grates. I will say that should be part of the post on your site.
