As a result, it went through eBay resolution, who fully refunded me for the trouble. Here is evidence that it pays to be a good person when given the opportunity. I will certainly never be doing business with this individual ever again, unprofessionalism and greed have no place in numismatics. Business model of buyer is obviously to purchase reproductions in case he even sees a tiny chance it could be an original. Afterwards the buyer abuses Ebay processes to keep the coin and get back the money. Interesting to have a look at the feedback he provided to others on Ebay... Unfortunately, Ebay does nothing to protect sellers from dishonest buyers.
